Three Petunias is a European-style specialty cut flower and floral design business located in the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois area. Three Petunias has operated seasonally at the Bloomington Farmers Market since 2001, and year-round since 2004. The business is owned and operated by Shannon Fulton and Marta Mason. Together they have over 15 years of experience growing cut flowers and designing bouquets.

Three Petunias grew from the owners’ friendship and passion for flowers.  Flowers may communicate many emotions to recipients, joy, sorrow, love, honor, or appreciation.  Three Petunias’ mission is to assist customers in expressing their emotions to others by offering unique, high quality floral arrangements. In this regard, Three Petunias’ owners perform many functions for the customer including that of educator, artistic designer, and flower grower.

Three Petunias grows and sells cut flowers, composes bouquets, and delivers floral arrangements primarily in Bloomington-Normal, and within a 50-mile radius of the community. Our flowers are grown at the owners’ fields and delivered to the design studio, where they are cleaned, processed, and stored in floral coolers before delivery.

Three Petunias is a full-service florist, offering flowers for weddings, funerals, and other events, plants, containers, and delivery. Our design style can range from the eclectic to contemporary, traditional to outrageous.  Presently, we grow all the flowers for sale from May through October. A unique service attribute is Three Petunias’ willingness and ability to custom-design an artistic floral arrangement on-the-spot. This process is truly interactive, producing a customized bouquet based upon the customer’s preferences for color, flowers, fragrance, and price. We strive to consistently offer friendly, courteous, and prompt personal service to every customer.

        No other florist in the area encourages customers to interact with the designers to customize a bouquet to the extent we do.  Another key attribute of Three Petunias is that we grow most of the flowers we sell, flowers that few florists will stock because they are unique, perishable, and labor intensive.  We may be reached by telephone at 309.378.2617.
